HVAC Hum

Hey guys as the title suggests I'm noticing a hum or grumble from my blower vents. Could it possible be the motor? I seen a post somewhere on here with the same problem. Can't find it so figured I'd make a new one! I posted a link to my video below!

Debris in the fan basket. Simple fix if you have some time. Pull out the filters in the cabin and make sure to clear everything out there. Secondly you’ll need to access the blower motor from the engine compartment and remove any collected debris. I removed the entire unit to clean everything but I’ve heard some people just using a vacuum.

It’s pretty straight forward but please disconnect the battery so you don’t accidentally touch the fuse junction cables to anything metal. Also lubricate the fan center when your there sometimes it rusts. Mine rusted till it couldn’t move and I had to replace it.

Also you can hot glue a plastic mesh to the blower box to replace the foam that deteriorated.
