Noticed that they are offering these now for 1/2 price:
http://www.dinancars.com/product/d75...ries&mid=1142/ Anyone have these wheels or know who the true manufacturer is? |

Yes, I think that is the reason
Maybe clearing out inventory and then no longer will be producing them? The website makes it sound like they are producing them in house and if so, maybe they are getting out of that business and focusing on the other more lucrative areas of business. |

I was looking at the Dinan website at these wheels and I see that they call for a specific tire only. they say any other tire manufacturer in the sizes they specify might need alteration to your vehicles fender.
they call for these tires: Michelin Pilot Super Sport Front 20" x 9" 265/35zr20 rear 20" x 10" 285/35zr20 I see that most people with 20" wheels run different size tires than what Dinan is calling for. Front 20" x 9" 245-55/35zr20 Rear 20" x 10" 275-295/30zr20 (30 not 35 like Dinan wants?) There is some decent pricing online in the tire sizes/brands that people are running. Not to mention the Michelin tires (Dinan specs) are super expensive ($1500 on tire rack) I know you get what you pay for and they are great tires but there is other options out there. I would really appreciate any thoughts from you wheel / tire guys? i'm starting to learn about wheels and tires. Thanks!!!!!!

Whew, over $4 large for these.
Too rich for my blood. I've either installed or ordered the following for about the cost of one and a half of these. 1. Black kidney grills 2. BavSound Stage 1 3. Bimmertech Amp 4. Extreme Power BR-1 Tune Doubt I'll do anything with my wheels anyway, as I like the standard ones on my 528, but if I do it won't be these.

My bad. Misread it. $1199 for a set of four, when I put "4" in for the quantity it gave four sets. Sorry about the confusion. That makes it a pretty good deal.

Just put the Sumitomos on my car, so far so good. Hopefully tomorrow can get a chance to gas it and see how the traction is. Hell of a deal from Tire Rack on them. I wish there was a better tire selection for 20" on E90, the recommended tires are a ratio step up from factory on that car, not sure how it will look, sure don't want 30F 25R.. Still a battle not to try it... Matt

I don't mind the wheels, but not sure if I love them enough. However that price feels as though its too good a price to pass up |

Seriously, with a set of Sumitomo's and new TPMS I could probably get the whole thing done for $1500....Forgestar's would run me $2000 just for the rims

I bought these wheels about a year ago for $999 delivered and no tax, that was 50% off!!!!!!. I thought that was a deal then as they were originally over$2K. I new that I wasn't about to drop $3-$4 thousand on wheels and tires so I thought WTF, at least they were engineered by Dinan for the F10 5 series. I even was looking for used sets for sometime, you all know how that goes.......
wheels $1K Tires $750 BMW OEM Tpms $100 Valve stems $25 ==$1900 and change!!!!!!!!!! So far after about 200 miles and some heavy right foot the wheels and tires make me grin from ear to ear!!!! What a huge difference from the run flats!!!! I thought the car was smooth before but now......WOW!!!! I have no plans as of yet to be a professional race car driver sooooooo this set is working out super great for the price!!!!!!! Ill post more pictures when ive cleaned up the car and changed out the lugs....
