Mods to run map 7??

I've looked and looked and haven't seen but one f10 535i running map7. My question is what other mods do i need to be able to run enough e85 and get to 100 octane for map 7. As far as I know there aren't any fuel pump upgrades for the f10 (I may be wrong). Im currently running map 2 with 4 gallons of e85 and logs like fine. Have tried map 5 also but I prefer map 2. I would love to try map 7. Any input or help would be awesome. Thanks

lnjwtr without seeing your logs you wouldn't know honestly, so check your FP_H value, timings and trims as you add E85. Also n54tech.com can help you more if you post your logs since thats the jb4 forum.

The PWG 535 seem e85 friendly i've seen cars running e40-e45 on stock fuel system
Even 7 gals http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1280179

Ok Thanks, ive posted a log with a couple gallons of e85 a while back and all was good. Since then gone up to 4 gallons and monitored logs myself. Looked fine. When i posted this i was really just looking for a ballpartk number of how far we could go. also talked to fuel it and they do offer a low pressure fuel pump upgrade for the f10. I plan on going that route soon and eventually getting pi or tbi not sure which yet.

4 gals + rest 93 is still very well under the limit, i use this as well http://www.georgebelton.com/E85Calculator.php

I'm running 5gal of E85 + 12gal 93 in my tank right now, no problems. Net E32. Everything is happy. Cold start with the E85 is kinda lumpy, but that goes away after a minute or so.

Start low 3-4 gals and rest 93, then go through the whole tank before adding e85 again so you can have a good calculation on your next refill.

Every car is a little different but typically 535 handles e40 without a problem (7 - 7.75 gal of e85 + rest 93). Also is smart to invest in the fuel-it e85 tester

In your opinion is there much of a difference in power going from 3-4 gallons to around 7 of e85 and the rest 93?

Very mucho so, you're increasing octane = which means more power
But hey start adding 1 extra gallon and make sure you log WOT to see how your parameters are running

I agree, and I run 5 gallons of e85 anything over that that car has some stuttering problems. Map 7 seems to be a place where you have a custom turbo, meth, full e85 situation going on. BMW's stock equipment can take a lot of abuse.
