I have small 6.5 screen with 6 pin LVDS (2013 F10). I found a cheap NBT unit (screen, main unit and iDrive). I don't want to pay any for installation. I am not sure, but I think the HU_CHAMP2 unit's cables, pinouts are same for NBT.

I know how to VO code and add new FA for the NBT unit and also HU_NBT cafd file, I can code them.

Will it directly operate with these works ? My dealer says that I need to have a license (or FSC code) from BMW and it is expensive. Is this code necessary for only navigation and for the new maps ? Or for all things for the unit work such as (DVD, Radio, movie, BMW APPS especially Spotify, SMS, e-mail over cellphone internet connection (I don't have SOS module, COMBOX, telemetic...) etc.)

If you say "don't do it yourself," I'll pay for it.
