A Precision 6262 with a proper tune can and will generate more power than your bottom end will hold. A forged rotating assembly, pinned hub and closed deck block are going to be a much to take advantage of its potential.

500 to 550whp is safe range I believe on stock internals but that can vary from car to car.

I dont know anyone with built motor for f10 platform but there is someone who did full rebuild of n55 engine with close deck design. I think if you do that and forged internals than probably 800 to 900whp.

always happy to help and further the development of f10 platform. I would have gone the route to rebuild and convert to manual if I had the means haha.

Remember if you arent manual than its not worth it. Engine can hold more power with stock internals than auto trans can handle.

Lets start with how it is. (Auto).
Will keep playing with the car with the passage of time.
Lets just see how these mods adjust with the car.
Next would be internals.

The shop I work for built that engine :-) He's working on replacing the existing big boost 3.4 kit with something even bigger and redoing the management system to see what the N55 platform is really capable of.

That clients original stock bottom end let go (rod #5 windowed the block) with a maxed out Pure Stage 2.

What target goals has he set this time?
And in the last page of the thread i did not find any final dyno numbers or videos etc. Can you tell us what the results were.

You would have to inquire with the client directly. I'm not sure if he has dyno'd the vehicle yet, what its made or if he wants to share that information. I'm not sure what his end goal is power wise but the engine we built him is ready to make it happen.

He is on 6AT which has an after market upgrade to handle more torque. There is no such solution for 8AT unless someone finds a way to swap 550 trans into 535i.

Just curious why not buy a M5 and start there vs dropping all this $ on a 535i?

Because the car import duty structure in our country is based on engine displacement. Higher the CC higher the duty. Already got my USD 52000 car for USD 110,000 including car price and duty/taxes etc.
