Anything in particular that you don't like about them? A lot of us changed to non-rft, but for specific reasons......

You mean changing the stock RFT tires to regular tires and keeping the stock rims? If so, not recommended. Don't waste your money, just used them until replacement.

If swapping rims and tires to another setting, refer to other thread as we have talked about this many times.

If you getting new rims 1000% yes
run-flat tires sucks
If you keeping the stock rims then drive them for a year and change to NRFT

Thank you for your advice. If I change to NRFT, what is your recommendation? I used Yokohama Advan Sport in my 3 series before.

I am using Advan Sport now. 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear. Really bumpy and noisy in comparison to Jxnco's PS2 which I test drove.

Get the Pilot Super Sport.

Yokohama is not a good tyre for road use.
I used to have them on my stepwgn 18" and when the road is a bit wet they slip like hell, also members have tried AD08 and they say that not good for 35 engine not much grip.
for me I go for safe and handling which I use bridgestone RE11 19" these war very good but at a cost for each it will cost about $3800 which cost more than my rims. You can go for the S001 which ferrari uses them
http://www.bridgestone.eu/tyres/car-...t/potenza-s001
if for normal driving and what to save $$$ and still what good grip go for Hankook V12, a lot of ppl buy these for sports car in US and UK but HK tyres shop will try not to sell these to you cos they dont make that much money out of them. cost for 19" is about $2000

Yes, after changing to 19" and 1,000k running I can say that PSS's handling is much improved compare to OE 17" RFT.
To be more specify, the grip is much more after warm-up as I was also told by Keith. And the wheel feel or prediction to limit (cornering) is much more clear, despite F10's electric-wheel, much contrast when the OE 17" RFT mounted.
Trust me, it is totally different!.

What's down side(s), if anyone too much care, is the bigger noise.
And, I agreed Sealobo's comment that 19" definitely bumpy than 17"RFT.
But this is due to natural law, maybe not the fault of PSS.

So, combine all (dis)advantages, I would strongly recommend this PSS.

I have the PSS on my F10 and love them! However, if PS3 were available in 20s, I would have just went for PS3 instead of PSS. I have PS3 on my 135i vert and those were almost as good as PSS in grip and comfort, and yet way quieter then the PSS, even when comparing a vert vs the F10!!!!!

Not to mention a lot cheaper.......

I wonder how the PS2 compares with PSS in terms of noise. I test drove Jxnco's PS2 and they are pretty quite. At least compared to my Advan Sport.

Right! But PS3 is way quieter than the PSS in my F10..... For my driving (not tracking the car), I can't help but think that PS3 (if available in 20s) will be a better choice for a sedan......

yeah many ppl say ps3 is better for road use than ps2 or pss.
I like grip & handling so I give these a miss.

Could very well be. But one thing I noticed is that the PS3 has much better grip prior to warming up than PSS. For short distance travel (reside on HK island), my experience is that PS3 holds better than PSS. But for longer distance travel where the tyres have a chance to warm up, no doubt the PSS will have better grip!

I would just like to say to all the doubters that I have spent the last few years reading all the posts about switching to non-run flats. First on my old 635d and then for my current 640d GC but I was never sure so stuck with the runflats.

I recently decided to go for it and bought a set of Bridgestone non-runflats and I am so impressed at the difference. Gone is the crashy ride and much more steering feel. Why didn't I do it before!!!??? Mind you, I think the Bridgestones are slightly noisier than the old Dunlop Sprotmaxx GT's, but I knew that would be the case from the label

Thanks for all the advice you good people
