Ebay Headlight

Hello, I found the headlight on eBay for $369 new. Has anyone here had any experience with a non-OEM headlight from ebay? Here is the link.

Moisture got in my driver side headlight, and now I get adaptive headlight malfunctions, headlamp vertical aim control malfunction errors, and also daytime running lights that don't work. I really don't want to spend $1000 on a used OEM headlight.

You may need to replace the control module instead of the headlight assembly.
Try drying out the headlight and see if that resolves the malfunctions/errors.
Use GE advanced silicone kitchen & bath caulk ($11 at Home Depot) to seal your existing headlight.
There are many posts about this issue.

I replaced the control model; the old one was all corroded from the moisture. By changing it, I got the blinker to work, but the day-running light is still out.
I will try to use silicone and at least stop water from coming and creating more damage.

Thanks.

Please keep us posted. I’m having the same issue with one of my headlights and I want to try sealing it rather than buy a new one.

Did you code the new control module?

It's been raining for a few days now, and there's no moisture in the headlights. I wish I had done this a long time ago.
