I for one do not like the look of that M steeringwheel. It doesn't look right in the 3 series either. The old one looked great IMO.

Well, there's the rectangular 'spot' where the old turn signal was, and then an ///M badge stuck below that, for ROW cars. I dunno what's going to go in the spot where the turn signal was, but I'm sure we won't have the ///M badge stuck below it.

That new M-wheel is awesome. I have it on my ActiveHybrid 3 w/M-sport. It is the best steering wheel, seriously. My former car was a 2012 E92 M3, and I like this new wheel just as much as what I had on the M3. It looks bad in pictures, I hated it too at first. But from an ergonomic standpoint, it feels great, and you can see the gauges through it easily.

Interesting. Is the diameter any different than the current one? And how about the rim? Is it beefier or the same thickness as the current M Sport wheel? Via pics it seems to be about the same there.

Same diameter, maybe slightly thicker? It is the one component I couldn't do without. Besides the seat, it's what you interact with most on the car. There is a reason BMW put the virtually the same steering wheel on their flagship $120K M6 GC....it's that good

You have to have it enabled thru coding. just takes few minutes if you can do it or find somebody to do it for you.

Can we assume this is likely a typo regarding 416 Carbon Black Metallic? I assume it is still allowed (and required) for ZMM with all the F10's?

Page 7 shows the 528i models:
ZMM requires ordering 300, 416, 668, A52, A83, A89, A90, S34, X02, X04, X08, X11 or X13

The same page shows all the other sedan models:
ZMM requires ordering 300, 668, A52, A83, A89, A90, S34, X02, X04, X08, X11 or X13. i.e. 416 not listed for the 535i/550i/535d models.

That is correct.

840 is "increased top speed limiter"

Yeah I was wondering about that too. I'm pretty sure it's an error in the ordering guide. Carbon Black has always been the exclusive M sport color.

Any word on two tone interiors? Such as Oyster/Black? Just hoping there is an Ivory White / Black option out there.

I've only seen that in pictures of the 2014 GT which had that combo in 2013 in Oyster.

2 Tone Interior

Based on this picture I think it's possible to order, just not sure if it's a Euro option only.

That may well be a Euro option or a Priority 1 upholstery. The UK order guide may shed some light. From what I see in the US guide there's various interior color codes for Ivory:
LZEO for Ivory Nappa with Oyster dash
LZET for Ivory Nappa with Black dash in Luxury and Sport lines
LZEU for Ivory Nappa with Black dash in Modern line

Applying some logic, why have LZEU for the Modern line if it's the same as LZET? You may have to get a specific line to get it.

This cannot possibly be true. Black is by far the most popular interior color and I don't believe they'd force every black interior to be Dakota.

Where in the ordering guide do you see black nappa? I don't see it.

The LCI is a commoditized model. The "lines" reduce the personalization e.g. The only black is leatherette and dakota. The only nappa is Ivory and mocha. This is normal spreadsheet driven behavior of "suits".

Am I reading this correctly, with MSport 19" rims now come with 528?

Look forward to seeing the mocha nappa leather interior. IMHO it will match nicely with most all the exterior colors including the blacks. A friend of mine has a black exterior 335 and has a brown interior that looks nice.

Definitely disappointed that it's back to having dampers and active roll bars bundled. Looks like I would just stick with standard MSport.

These lines make things confusing......
Can't order Active Roll Bars, Active Steering OR Dynamic Dampers on 528 for 2014; am I reading this right?

Do you folks find Nappa to be clearly superior to Dakota leather? If yes, why?

This is from the M6 GC . If this is the steering wheel in the 2014 5 Series MSport it's quite different from the 2013.

The center fork has split aluminum, instead of plastic, and the ///M version has tri-color stitching. Other than those two minor cosmetics, they are near-identical. What in your pic references concludes otherwise?

No. You can get only the 18" 613M rims with the 528i w/ M-sport. Those do look good, however.
