How good is the HUD in the daytime?

Yep, clear as day. About the only time seeing the HUD is difficult is with some polarized sunglasses, but other than than no issues whatsoever.

I agree. No problem except when I happen to be following a white car/truck. My polarized sunglasses make it nearly invisible. So I don't use polarized sunglasses any more.

HUD is awesome. My F10 550i is my third BMW with HUD. I use Serengeti Driving Sunglasses. They are awesome in general and work well with HUD.

Are your Serengetis polarized? I keep reading how polarized glasses make the HUD projection almost invisible but my polarized Serengetis did not prevent me from seeing a pretty clear image on the screen.

Agree fully with "volinder"!
Whenever I drive my mom's F02 without HUD, I forget to check my speed b/c I never look down...oops!
Anyways, the only time I find it difficult to see is during dusk; I feel the urge to turn the brightness up temporarily.
