Glad to hear it Jon D!!
How's the bonnet alignment looking? Ever since you raised the issue, every time i see an F10, i am left concentrating at the bonnet!!! |

The only fault I found was some crazing on the rear number plate from an over-tightened screw - new plate fitted while we did the paperwork. Of course, the best way to inspect a car is to wash and dry it thoroughly. I did that this afternoon and found two very small paint chips on the rear bumper (possibly done by the guy who changed the plate - should have re-checked); I might mention it, but I'm not all that bothered and it's easily fixed as the car's in white. Other than that, I've found nothing else wrong and the general finish looks extremely good. However, tomorrow's Werkstating will tell... |

As I said to my friends on the 3er forum: give me a break guys - I picked up the car in Aberdeen and drove home in the pissing rain over roads covered in farmer's filth
Car is now washed, dried and in the garage awaiting an early morning start with the 'Werkstat' and 'Poorboys' wheel sealant. Pics within the next day or so, but not until it's all nice-and-shiny - I promise |

Thanks for all the positive comments!
I have now run 500 km in two days. And the car is fantastic! If I may rank it that has surprised me most positively, it is 1 The engine is extremely powerful at all speeds, with fast response and varvillig all the way to redline (sounds more like a nascar ligth than a diesel) 2 M package with sophistic gray looks really good together In my taste, so the M-chassis strikes a good balance between sport and comfort (Was a bit hesitant when I ordered the car) 3 Sports gearbox that is fast in response and gentle in the fluctuations. fits very well with the nature of the 535d engine 4 The stereo is very good good resolution in the treble and midrange, and can simultaneously deliver a good pressure in the base 5 The furnishings are a couple of classes better than my previous E60 I will come back if I find some weaknesses but I am new in love right now. and then you can not see these weaknesses. Very nice car I have ordered same colour 525d M and have two more weeks to finalize options. I am thinking of wheels 350M or 351M Can you post better pic of your wheels, there are not so many pics of 350M and most are very poor. Second question is about Dynamic Damping Control with M-suspension? How much can you change ride style? Thanks |

Yes,In our M-pack option there is "static" m-suspension and I am afraid that ride will be too stiff. Therefore I am thinking to add Dynamic Damping Control which would allow to make ride adjustment (bad roads, etc). On other hand to order m-package without m-suspension at all

I bet it's an awesome car with that engine, too bad it's sooo expensive here in Norway.
