I just had mine installed by BMW dealer on Wednesday and they look great. Paid $150 for the pair and paid $150 for install. Yikes kinda pricey.

If you insist I have three bridges I would consider selling you ...

One of my favorite sayings is, "It's not how much money you have (or make), it's how you spend it!" Try this on for size: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/BMW-...ose-grill.aspx or here: http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...egoryID=166910

Holllly crap, sorry to say but you got taken.

For less than $150 you could have gotten dedicated M Performance black grilles (which won't chip as easily as black painted over OEM chrome) and installed them yourself in minutes.

I recommend it spraying with plasti dip, it gives a matte finish and the awesome part is that it is easily reversible when something goes wrong.

Cost like 5-7 dollars a can compared of shelling out 100-200$

I thought about that....

Do you still recommend removing the grills?

I found a couple of DIY on this forum, but still reluctant to do so as I don't have the proper tools at home.

if you can remove it, then remove it, it would be easier that way.

If you can't just spray it where it is, make sure to start low to avoid over spray or runs. Also put something behind like a clean garbage plastic or a cardboard behind the intercooler

Make sure you check out dipyourcar on youtube for tips and tricks on plasti dip!

Good Luck

Then buy the tool, it's a couple bucks and not worth spraying anything while it's on the car. Click below for instructions...
