Spark plugs and ignition coils

Gents,
I recently got the drivetrain malfunctions and after doing a diagnostic I found out the car is misfiring. So I'll be doing the spark plugs and maybe ignition coils. Any recommendations? Would you guys recommend sites like amazon, Ebay, fcpeuro etc? Should I found out which coils are bad or just replace them all? Or just do the spark plugs? Or all?

I got these sparkplugs:
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...plug-ngk-96987

And these coils:
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...12138616153kt1

Been around 8 months now on both and 0 issues so far plus they come with lifetime warranty.

I changed spark plugs and coils recently. Car has 136k so thought new coils will help.

Went with these:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-12131712219x6

They aren't much and if you're doing plugs just change all coils. You'll be safe with anything from FCP as long as it fits.

I replaced both spark plugs and ignition coils in my 2011 528i at around 135K km.
Had misfiring in one cylinder and after some research decided to replace them all.
I got them from Rockauto.com

Did you find them cheaper on Amazon? Which ones did you get?

I bought a set of 6 for $108 on Amazon from a seller called YTautoparts. Had pretty good reviews. The plugs from fcpeuro for $68. That's with shipping. The torque wrench for $20 and I already had the other tools. So almost $200. Dealership woulda probably charge about $700. Will take about 1hr to swap out.

Another thing, make sure you guys have the right socket. Just ran into some issues where I thought my socket was fine but I needed a deep/ thin wall 14 mm 3/8 socket. Not even my local parts store had them. Found a store 45 min away. Will pick up this weekend.

It's not just a thin wall deep 14mm - it has to be 12 point too.

Just an FYI, 23 nm is to much. Tried it. Broke the spark plug inside. Took me 3 trips to the store to get it out.

You sure you were using nm right? A lot of torque wrenches have a nm side and a ft-lb side. 23 ft-lb is 31nm.
