F10 Front Grille Options

Hi all,

Looked at getting some new front grilles for my F10 today after seeing a few and quite liking them, I preordered a set of M-Sport black grilles from BMW but whilst browsing online noticed the M5 grilles are a different design (a twin slat rather than multiple singles slats).

Which has got me thinking - so what do people think looks best?

(Note I don't want an M5 badge on it - so I presume they can be removed if it comes with the M5 grille, if not that answers my question!)

I have the twin-slat M5 style grille on mine. I went through the same thought process as you on this topic. BMW does not make the twin-slat without the M5 logo, so I went aftermarket. Honestly, even if you touch the M5 grille, it feels pretty flimsy, so I think the aftermarket quality is on par for the most part. I got mine from ebay from a company in Germany called DMAutoteile. I've had it a year and it has held up just fine and still looks like the day I put it on.

There are some additional pics in this post with a link to the ebay store: https://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=24707043

I've got the 550i grilles on mine, as also seen on the ActiveHybrid. Very similar to the standard grilles, but silver/grey slats. This is my car, finished in Deep Sea Blue:

you can remove the M5 badge - its two seperate badges - ///M and the 5.

but it will leave blank flat black space with out it - so if you want to do this go aftermarket on the twin slat design. or remove the 5 and keep the ///M. just need t o move it across to make in be in the centre of the space.

but for me twin slat looks best
