4.89 is not shabby congrats. Be aware that our stock PWG turbo pushed very hard will last amount a year or 30k of pushing it hard

Thanks. That 0-60mph 4.8sec was with a OTS stage 2 map on 93 Octane pump gas. Custom map next. Logs look clean so far.

i have an 11 535 6mt ER downpipe, BMS intake & JB+. I really like the difference from stock and was about to go JB4 since they were going to give me my 200 back for the JB+ but I think after reading this I want to go MHD.

Huge fan of MHD. Currently running a stage 2 93 octane tune. Mods are VRSF charge pipe, ER catless dp. Hoping to run a stage 2+ once I get my VRSF intercooler installed.

Quick update. I went MHD and got lucky and got it custom tuned by btuned27@yahoo.com. awesome guy! I Love driving this car with the MHD and custom tune. the stock tune showed 405NM torque at the clutch, after a few tunes new 2 step colder plugs and VRSF intercooler Im at 598NM torque at the clutch. car is an absolute beast. rolling burn outs galore! hitting the drag strip tomorrow to see what she does.

I am interested too. I don't think there are really any benefits to custom tuning as the OTS maps are pretty decent out of the box. I too have dragy now, but can't find a spot where I can safely do 0-60. Ey2001, what mods are you running these days?

Still just same... just the ic.... dp is not installed yet... my car is at the dealer... been there for 3 weeks already and need to wait probably another 2 weeks... I had 2nd gear grinding/crunching in high rpm after 6k... dealer ordered a new transmission from Germany and my sa told me it's going to take 7-10 business day for them to get it... what about you?

MHD stage 2 with ER catless dp, and VRSF cp. I have had my VRSF intercooler for a while now but I have been waiting on VRSF to send me the correct bolts.

What year is your car, and how many miles? Was it under warranty or you are paying out of pocket?

Damn! That sucks...Mine is a 2011 with no warranty. If mine goes I am SOL. Transmission failures are not very common on F10s however. What caused yours to fail? Hotrodding

Going from 1st to 2nd gear I was getting a crunch anything higher than 6k... I was reading up on some 2 and 3 series that have that same issues and it was a sign of bad synchros... I have manual car.. I guess bmw are known for these from the e46 days... I had a turbo Honda when I was younger...never had a issue.... bouncing it of launch control from redline with slicks... lol

Can't speak for the 6-speed manual, but eight speed auto is lightening quick. Good thing you had warranty huh,.
