BMS PEDAL TUNER vs SPRINTBOOSTER

Anyone have any reviews on the bms pedal tuner for the f10?
Prefer someone whos had both sprintbooster and pedal tuner but im sure thats going to be rare.
Any input would be apprecoated.
I am on the fence between the two.

Never owned either but I have Pedal Commander installed on my 550 for 2 years now. 21 settings. No issues and works as advertised. They should all be the same.

I've tested the sprint booster v3 and currently have had the BMS Pedal Tuner for a week now. I returned the sprint booster for the fact that it was way too expensive for the same result the BMS pedal tuner does at $100 less, only difference is that the sprint booster v3 had pedal lock and a valet mode. No issues on BMS and it performs exactly like the sprint booster In my opinion.

Ur review helped tremendously.
Just what i wanted to hear.
Im glad it worked out for u. I do not need valet or pedal locks so
i will most likely go with bms.
Where did u purchase urs and for how much?

If anyone else has experience please do share.

Glad to have helped! I bought it directly from burger-tuning for 179.99 + shipping

From my previous review:

So I have had the BMS Pedal Tuner in for a week now and man does it make the throttle feel snappy! Getting up to speed is effortless now and it feels like the boost is instant with minimum pedal movement. I tried all 4 levels.

White = stage 1 is stock setting

Green = stage 2 is slightly better than stock

Amber = stage 3 is my current setting and does wonders for daily driving

Red = stage 4 is purely for throttle junkies.

I tried stage 4 setting with the sensitivity set to high for shits and giggles and I almost rear ended someone so please don't try that in traffic. Feels identical to the sprint booster v3 but without the pedal lock and valet settings. For 179.99 it was a no brainer for me.

How does pedal tuner work with a flash tune? Is it of value?

I have and mhd stage 1 tune on a 6mt 535. Throttle response is significantly better after the tune.

I am also following along to see if it still makes a noticeable difference when combined with a BM3 tune

quick review:

ewg 2014 535 6mt with mhd stage1

The bms pedal tuner definitely makes a difference. One of the reasons I got the MHD tune was to improve throttle response...which it did, but not quite enough. I ended up setting "Sport" mode to throttle only, as a prefer the ride quality of 'comfort" for NYC.

BMS pedal tuner makes a useful difference by being able to fine tune the throttle, separate from the suspension. I set it to stage 1 + 2 step increase. Normal driving and particularly downshifting is more direct. Tip-in is far better, which i thought was weak in sport mode before the pedal tuner, however I am inadvertently slipping the clutch a lot. Installation takes about 5min for anyone with a Torx30 bit.

i understand that there is a kick-down switch for auto cars. the throttle of 6mt does not have this. I am curious as to what difference this makes, and if there should be two different versions for 6mt/auto.

Similar impressions (also MHD stage 1)...also noticed it helps makes Comfort mode just a bit more aggressive and I end up moving into Sport mode a little less often.

I also keep mine in stage 1 (green)...stage 2 and 3 are fun for giggles but not practical for day to day, traffic or not. Maybe I'll get spoiled some day and start using it on a low stage 2 setting but doubt it.

Installation is super easy if you know what you're doing...for first timers, I recommend having a basic pair of pliers on hand to (very gently) use on the stock plug if you're having a hard time removing it from the pedal. Also, BMS has installation videos on their product page including instructions on how to calibrate, and if you don't calibrate you'll get drivetrain malfunction etc. so it's a must.

I have an auto car but don't see any kick down switch, and honestly don't even know what that is?

Anyone have a Racechip XLR? I bought it about 2 months ago, but never got around to installing it. I will someday soon, but just curious if anyone else has used it or compared it to the others.
