how many coats did you lay down? clear? i did 3 coats of each post some pictures when you're done!
I laid down about 4 coats of paint. No clear. Now you have me thinking I should have. Lol.

I painted them the same blue as my calipers, which was from an engine enamel paint. What's weird is I have some sort of secondary vent structure behind my grills that you don't have.

My 2012 has the active vents (which I think I like) and the 2014 has the same structure as Mr. Johnson.

Installed sequential mirror turn signals today, love em! I think I’m going to have to get some of the gloss black winged mirrors caps now.

Yes, I know she’s filthy, about to get a bath now.

How did you install? By removing the mirrors first?

I did it with the mirrors still on the car. It’s not difficult, just a little finnicky because you really don’t want to break anything while doing this.

I also chose to cut the connectors off the new turn signals rather than tear down the door panel unnecessarily just to clip that in. I also like to solder, lol. So basically I cut the connector off the new turn signals, cut the wires of the factory turn signal and soldered them together.

1) Remove the mirror cover, there are a few different threads about this but let me know if you need a hand. It’s pretty simple, basically grab from the part closest to the door, separate there and then carefully separate towards the outside releasing the clips.

2) Remove the mirror. This is best done by carefully tilting the glass as far down as it will travel and then CAREFULLY use a plastic trim tool to pry at the back between the tilted down glass and the mirror housing. The mirror should pop out.

3) If your mirror is heated, carefully pull the connector free of the clamp on the mirror back and separate the connectors.

4) My kit came with the appropriate Torx wrench to remove the screw that holds in the turn signal assembly. If you look down inside the housing, you will see which bolt it is. It must be removed from the mirror side of the housing (why we removed the glass).

5) To remove the original turn signal, you have to carefully free the bulky side (toward the inside of the housing). There is a retaining tab there that you need to move the turn signal past. The turn signal has a groove at the low edge that the lower mirror housing fits inside of. Using a plastic trim tool, carefully work to separate the turn signal from the housing and pull it free.

6) Chose to cut and solder/splice the new turn signal to the factory wiring or proceed to teardown your driver side door to access the connector.

Reverse installation.

Did you do rotors too or just pads? I’m debating right now.

I typically always change rotors/pads i'm not a big fan of machining rotors, there by removing metal from the rotor surface....

its such a critical component, changing rotors each time you change pads is cheap insurance...imho

Took my F10 in to my body guy today. Initially I was just going to have him repaint/blend a door after a detailer sanded through the clear coat. I decided to also have him respray the hood as rockchips have taken their toll. He reminded me that it would be a good time to do the front bumper as well so I ordered a replica M Sport bumper.

It also came with fogs which I’ll be retrofitting as my SE did not come with fogs. Additionally, I’m having him paint and install an M Performance lip spoiler in gloss black. I’ll have the car back this weekend, I’ll be sure to post pics.

Wrapped my rails in prep for the roof to be wrapped when my vinyl comes in.. I always found it incomplete when folks wrap the roof but leave the rails untouched especially on white F10s

Nice! I'm going to do this, already have SAT coded, but I'm holding out to find a ceramic unit for a decent price.
