I want to upgrade my F10 Swaybars

I own a 2013 BMW(F10) 535i X-drive and I am looking to upgrade the rear swaybar. I have upgraded my rear swaybar on my previous cars and it feels great. My car at the moment has a sport drop using H&R springs and i will love to upgrade the rear swaybar. I've been looking and since the car is awd is difficult to find one.

Can anyone help me or give me a suggestion.

Thanks

I recommend the 20mm bar from H&R or Eibach.

If you like to stay with OEM and a direct fit, 16mm rear sway from M550d/650i is the way to go.

If you want go cart handling & stiff ride go with H&R or Eibach. If you want less than go cart handling yet major improvement with slightly less stiffness go with M5 front 650 rear. Since you already have H&R sport springs I recommend latter. I have Eibach pro springs and H&R sways, handles great on smooth straight road, but harsh on rough pavement.

If you find the ride too harsh (as I did) with the aftermarket bars, the solution is the KW V3 kit.

Good luck.

I have an M5 CP front and M550d/650i setup ready to be shipped. It's a good upgrade with a very straightforward install. Asking $300 shipped. Under 5K miles.

I am honestly not 100% sure if the rear would, but I know the front will.

The front and rear complement each other so you will be better off doing both, although the front makes noticeably more difference than the rear when upgraded.

In addition to the actual sways, am I looking to buy also the bushings, and holding plates along with self tapping screws or I need only the actual sway bar part and bushing for it? (assume old bushings will go as diameter is different). On pic of course the brackets look the same, yet part nos are different vs M5.

Will a dealer be able to give me advice on this btw or this is one of those "you want a better handling car, buy one... from us" situation.

You won't need anything additional-
For M5, the bar, bushing, and mounting plate are all pre-assembled together, so you literally would just remove the original bar and put this in place of it.

It's hard to explain but it's basically one whole assemble of all the parts when you order from the dealership, but the parts are replaceable individually if need be. I believe the bracket is silicone'd over the bushing, which comes pre-installed onto the bar.

Since my car on warranty dealer told me there is a chance i will lose it if something goes wrong. LIke BMW factory in EU will refuse me. Since I signed contract with them for extended warranty and all... so a wait for 2 years...

You should be safe since these are OEM BMW parts. Don't let them intimidate you just bc they don't know the topic as well as the rest of us. It's been tried and proven to work without affecting other components of the car or any repercussions overall.
