beam of lights / light switch under the hood where to look?

Hello, I put on an illuminated emblem but I do not know where I can connect, currently I have it attached after ignition, but I would prefer the emblem to glow only at night because the effect is weak during the day. where can I find the light beam so that the emblem turns on after dusk?

You could try one of the wires that go to one of the headlights.

IMHO, I would be extremely cautious about tapping into this car's electrical system given the large amount of computer monitoring of circuits and functions.

Good luck.

Think a relay would solve that possible problem?

Tapping into one of the headlight wires using a relay should trigger the emblem light without interfering with the voltage to the headlight.

Something like this. I'm not an electrician so I would get professional help installing this.

I will probably not do without removing the lamp 😔 it will be easier to break through the bulkhead into the car
