Are there any users here with iDrive 6 in your car and also have the ConnectedDrive store?

I am trying to find owners of cars with the 4G LTE (Next Generation) module and iDrive 6.

I would like to know if you can access the ConnectedDrive store.

If you can access it, are you able to purchase remote start?

The store was disabled in the car years ago. Something about safety, er, liability...

To answer your direct question, my 2019 540i (G30) has the store disabled.

Not exactly what you’re asking, but I’ve installed the BimmerTech remote start kit in my f10. It works. I’m not super happy as there are some quirks I want to email them about. But it is an option to consider.

Is yours a pre-LCI? I am asking because 64 50 2 408 984‬ is the only Genuine Remote Start retrofit I know of. It is similar in design as BimmerTech. Is the technology different now? Where is it integrated and transmitted through?

It is an LCI. I am having other issues so I will be contacting them for support or maybe just see if they except an extended return since they forgot multiple parts and took me forever to install because of it.

I didn’t find the official one anywhere otherwise I would have gone with that. I’ve heard there’s one other brand. I can’t remember the details though.
