Any experience or reviews of aftermarket A/C condensers?

My A/C condenser is leaking. I am assuming the OE BMW part is over priced. There are several aftermarket versions available, but are they any good? Any recommendations? 2014 535

I would trust most things that either FCP or Pelican sells over eBay any day. I would go with the Behr since it has a couple of 5 star reviews.

I second FCP over Ebay. Lifetime replacement guarantee from FCP too.

If you look at the two FCP pages under details, "Behr" says "Quality: OEM" while Nissens says "Quality: aftermarket", yet is more expensive.

I would be inclined to contact FCP - the Nissens might be aftermarket-and-improved as opposed to aftermarket-and-cheaper. Nissens is a brand I remember for E39 radiators from when that was a concern of mine a few years ago. I believe for the E39 they were trying to make a better unit less failure-prone (heavier plastic at hose connections etc...).

I installed a 50 buck ebay condenser.
fitment is not perfect as the fan shrowd trim needs to be trimmed. (not visible)

Do not have long term experience. was installed in January.

my evaporator has a leak currently. So cant say but I think build quality is equal to oem.

oem ones do fail constantly so I would stay away.
