I know man, this is exactly why I was hesitant to do the repair....they called me today for an update, told me it was an inactive code that happened 10 driving cycles ago and it has to do with the turbo pressure....I have no clue what they're talking about (I was at my job and didn't have time for detailed explanation). I will be going there tomorrow and I will definitely keep updating on this thread

update:

ok so they emailed me the invoice and here is what they found verbatim:

CONNECTED BATTERY CHARGER AND RAN SHORT TEST, FOUND FAULT CODE 120308, 120708 FOR CHARGING PRESSURE CONTROL FOR BOTH BANKS. FOUND FAULT TO ONLY HAPPEN ONE TIME. TEST DROVE VEHICLE EXTENSIVELY: FOUND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AT IDLE OR
REDLINE. TEST DROVE VEHICLE IN THE MORNING, NOON AND AFTERNOON ON STREET AND FREEWAY SPEEDS, UNDER LOAD OR NO LOAD: NO FAULTS RETURNED, NO WARNING MESSAGES
APPEARED, NO SYSTEM ERRORS AT THIS TIME.
Correction: RECOMMEND CUSTOMER DRIVE VEHICLE UNTIL LIGHT RETURNS TO CONTINUE DIAGNOSIS

I'm picking the car up tomorrow hoping its not gonna keep doing this. if anyone knows what could cause these faults to happen please explain. the light came when i had it in sport+ and accelerated

ok so I've been driving the car and so far no issues...the dealer told me it could be a battery issue (which is weird) but they couldn't find any problems with the car. the "increased battery discharge warning was on for about 5 days after I picked it up the first time so my question is, could a malfunctioning battery cause these turbo pressure codes ??

FAULT CODE 120308, 120708 FOR CHARGING PRESSURE CONTROL FOR BOTH BANKS.

Low batteries can cause all kinds of gremlins in most modern cars, so it is at least a possibility. Sounds like they didn't replace the battery?

No. they said it passed their test and it is an updated battery (105 A). I've been reading about these codes and they do seem to be related to electrical gremlins

In that case, I say drive it and enjoy it and don't worry about it unless something comes up again. These are wonderful cars and I hope you enjoy your time with it.

can anyone please check what they did and explain (in plain english) what was replaced and what did they do and most importantly if there is anything missing or should've been done. the quantity of the parts are not mentioned, but from what i'm reading it looks like I'm getting the deal of the century. when i pick the car up I will know for sure. wondering how much this would cost normally?

also what should I pay attention to when i pick it up. (how long should the warranty be on this type of repair?)

thank you all, have a blessed new year
So, they did the valve stem seal replacement for free?

Where are you in SoCal and which dealership? I just bought a 2011 from auction that i know is burning oil. I am going to replace the PCV Valves first, but if it's the Valve Stem Seals, I would love to get BMW to pay for the repair.
