Why isn't this bumper fitting correctly?

The fitment of this new bumper is so poor it’s made for my car and has a guaranteed fit do I return it or is there a way to fix this?

Your 4th picture shows that the bumper isn’t correctly fitted over the front air intake plastic assembly….its also the reason for the poor fitment shown in your 1st 3 photos.

There are two small plastic tabs on the aluminum cross member that if aren’t aligned, will cause your bumper cover to droop and not sit back enough for a proper fit.

Fit the front first, then tackle the sides. If you sit the bumper cover loosely on the front and try to fit the sides, it won’t go on correctly.

Forgot to add, if you practice with your original bumper cover first, even if it’s broken, you’ll have better success fitting the new bumper cover.

You’ll find out that it’s easy to hang up on the front end and side hardware, and if that occurs, your bumper will remain “slightly” off.

If you have to pull the bumper cover back to force it to clip into the fende rails, the front is not on correctly….the bumper cover sides should snap into place with no force required.
