Hello everyone, my f10 520d has about 270.000km; about 10.000km ago a vibration started occuring from the center console, seems to be from the A/C.
I tried to figure out what could it be but nothing. It is louder when the engine's cold, when it becomes hotter the vibration is harder to hear.

Any ideas on what it could be?

Vibrations are something you feel.

Does the vibration happen only while stopped. Or does it happen while moving? Does it change as you speed up or down?

If its the a/c turn off the a/c and see if it goes away. The compressors on these cars do get noisy as they age and get near failure.

Open and close the cup holder cover a few times, I know it sounds insane, but I was getting this annoying sound/vibration from that area and couldn’t figure it out for a couple of first drives.
