Supply Hose, NLA? Part Number Help
My workshop just sent me that the hose connected from the oil cooler running down to the passenger side to a cooling metal pipe above the turbo that needs replacsment. My F10 has the Hot Climate package and when I looked at realOEM, I found out that that specific pipe is grayed out!?
There are 4 diagrams which include this pipe, 2 of the diagrams are for Hot climate version and both are grayed out. However, the other 2 versions, one I think is for the manual gearbox version and not sure of the other one. But those two show the supply hose as available. Again I am skeptical that those might not be the correct ones to install but this is why I making this thread. Any help? I am either looking to find the part number for that supply pipe which is for the hot climate version, or I need confirmation that the other one (which is not for hot climate version) is suitable for my vehicle and will work as intended. Hoa Thank you for the reply. I got the same part number from the other diagram however my worry was the note on that diagram stating "Hot climate verson=no" which pushed me to speculate that it is not the right part for my car. See below:

When you decode your whole 17 digit VIN…it actually says that you have S823A option?
Only asking because when you use realoem and you enter your VIN to pull up diagrams…when the part is grayed out…it means that part wasn’t used. When you do click on the 11 digit part number that was mentioned above…does your model appear on the list? If yes, then maybe it is one of the anomalies that are found in the parts database. EDIT:. Since we can’t decode your VIN (need all 17 digits)…we don’t know how your 535i is optioned. If you don’t have a manual transmission, then the diagram below could apply. I just entered the part number at the realoem.com website…then clicked on your model (a 535i for Euro market)…and got the diagram and part number index below that shows #22 (not grayed out) along with the hot climate option code saying YES…and the part number 11 53 7 607 841 is listed:

Qsilver7 The issue with the diagram that you posted is that it seems like its for the manual transmission version as the first note mentioned:
Automatic transmission = no and Sport automatic transmission = no My F10 has the automatic transmission but without the sport automatic transmission option and its the hot climate version also. This is why its confusing to me. As all of the diagrams mentioning the Automatic transmission AND hot climate version has this coolant hose grayed out. Full VIN is: WBA5B1C55ED475444 |

Well, there is only one variant that has this hose so even if the option list doesn’t match, it is the only hose your vehicle. Cold climate usually have better shield on the hose. That’s the only difference between hot and cold

If you refer to the hose number 17, that is a pain in the bum. I had it leaking before in between the rubber hose and the metal part. They said the proper way to remove it is by lowering the subframe or the turbo manifold? (cant remember) but they said they will try to sneak it from the waterpump side which they have successfully done it.
But if you refer to the hose that I was talking about in this thread then it has direct access from the top. and only held by screw clamps. |
