Save over 1k with DIY Chrome Black Out for Window Trim - Comprehensive DIY
So this was probably one of the most tedious things I have done so far to my car. It was a long project but I didn't like the vinyl wrap and I wasn't going to pay 500 for used trim, or 1500 for new black trim. I couldn't find ANY videos on how to remove these pieces or do this job - probably cause no one considered it worth it when they can just do vinyl wrap but again, that wasn't for me. Let me now what you think!

Awesome work, but the finish leaves a bit to be desired. If you're going for glossy, should definitely try to go for a smoother finish. I'm going to try this with SEM Trim Black Ultra satin, will post results.

I am still learning how to paint. One thing I did not do is the 1500 grit wet sand and then polish. That would help the clear coat shine a lot better... It is still very glossy in person, not sure if it shows in the video.
