Rear Sway Bar F06 GC

Hey guys - I just received my rear sway bar. Thought I was getting the 16mm from the 650i that people often use, but just realized I received the 15mm X-drive w/EDC version. Anyone have experience on putting this on a non-EDC RWD? From what I've read they are the same? I think stock M sport is 14mm.. so I guess it'll only be a slight improvement

Part # is 33556775437

Pretty sure that 1mm difference will be a great upgrade in the rear. I think ive read somewhere it equates to 20% increase in rigidity. Keep us posted on your results, im interested!

It fit perfectly fine.. btw dropping the exhaust is prob the easiest way to do this install because it's hard to get the bar in/out. My butt said it feels a difference. I installed the front strut bar 1-2 weeks ago, so a lot of moving parts.

btw, have a M Sport rear if anyone is interested.

Just more solid handling. Better turn in with a thicker sway on RWD. Increases rigidity.

Def need to add this to my list of things to buy. Just got back into a BMW and getting the modbug hard. Trying to stick to the essentials before things I don't need such as cosmetics.

This is my first "modern" BMW. My E90s, E92 and E70 all have hydraulic steering and though I appreciate the comfort of the electronic steering, some tightness around corners would be appreciated. Seems like this is the easiest place to start.

Any references to the install process?

There's some threads out there. For me it was just remove the end links.. struggle with getting it out, drop the exhaust and then put it back on same way. Took about 2-3 hours. I'm pretty sure it can be done in 1 hour or lesss haha
