I just replaced my passenger side bulb yesterday. This DIY was helpful. Confirmed no screws need to be removed, but it does take some force to turn the bulb socket from the locked position. The access hole is relatively small (I have big hands) and the socket sort of digs into your fingers as you are gripping it. I found it helpful to put on a pair of work gloves and got it out. It is a 3 min job once you figure out the best way to position your hands to grab.

NP. I used an H7 led kit, about $75 and you will need to wire in some resistors. Not that the OEM cornering lights weren't bright enough, but I wanted yellow inners so that's why I gottem.

what a pain that was to twist it and put it back, but the results are worth it. I ended up using pliers to twist it to remove it. you only need to twist about 15-20 degrees. putting back is a little easier, just make sure you put it same way back.
once you remove the bulb, you will need a small flat screwdriver to get he H7 bulb out of the metal housing and replace it. put it back and twist it in place. I used Philips Diamond Vision H7 bulbs purchased on ebay. The match angel eyes very well! |

Hi Aaron. Do you still have the yellow CLs installed? If so, got any pics? I would love to see them.

i can confirm
Guys and galls i can confirm the torx screws do not need to come out , i just changed my cornering bulbs , torn my hands to shreds but no removal of Torx required. Its just and odd design. Look for an alignment lug like a small metal arrow , you will be able to see that this moves approx 2 cm to basically you can twist is about 2 cm it will them come away
