Spacers on Stock 19" wheels
Hi everyone,
I've searched extensibly about this topic but have not been able to get a clear answer, so here it goes. My first child was born a couple of weeks ago and I decided to trade my beloved E63 6er for a 535i with the Sport package and 19" wheels running 245's in the front and 275's in the rear. In order to get closer to the sportier look and feel of the 6er, I ordered a set of AC Schnitzer springs that will be installed next week. Since I will keep the stock wheels until I make up my mind about which wheels to get, I want to get spacers to push the wheels closer to the edge of the fender line. With the staggered stock wheels, how wide a spacer can I use in the front and rear WITHOUT causing ANY rubbing at all? Keep in mind, I did not buy the X Drive model. Thanks so much, I appreciate your help.

Re: Spacers on Stock 19" wheels
Thanks so much Lacster.
Since you are more familiar with the specs of this car, do you know why so many people have put wider spacers in the front (10-12) than the rear (5) when they get new rims? Is it because they go much wider in the rear than stock but do not go substantially wider up front? Thanks again.

I actually can't remember seen spacers on OEM wheels on a F10 in here, only on aftermarket wheels.
So make sure to post pics when you get it done.

Hey guys, I have a 550X-Drive so my back tires are the same as the front 245. So can I safetly get 12mm spacers all around? Or should I go bigger... keep in mind im lowering my car with H&R springs this weekend. Thanks in advance
