351m wheels dillema

Ok so I need an opinion on a set of staggered 351m wheels on my 535i luxury line. I purchased a set of staggered 351m wheels. The problem is a few weeks ago I purchased a set of 255 40 19 michelin pilot sport AS 3 plus. Would it be ok to run 255 40 19 square set up on staggered 19x8.8 19x9 wheels? Would the rear look stretched? The other option would be to just but 2 new rear 275 35 19 tires but I believe the 255 40 19 would be taller. Not sure if I would be able to tell the difference. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

The wheels are only 0.5" wider at the rear. If you think about the stock sizes they are 30mm wider at the rear for only 12.7mm extra width, ie a 17.3mm difference in stretch.

What you're talking about now is a 12.7mm difference so I really don't think you'll notice it enough to be concerned.

Brad, I figured it would work. I do like a wider look out back hence the thought of the 275s but its unfortunate my 255s are new

If I had 245 40 19 I would probably go with the 275s even taking a loss. Problem is 255 40 19 are a bit taller than 275 35 19

Anyone know if a 285 35 19 would work in the rear? That would be another option if it works

Even 295/35/19 works
that's the oem setup for the 345m wheels
I'm having them installed in a week with 285/35/19 in the rears though (nitto tires just go up to 285)

I'm excited to see these, I've been thinking that 345m wheels would be a really good option. Please post plenty of pics

285 would not be too wide for a 9 inch wheel?

345m are 10" wide. A 285/35-19 on a 9" wheel will probably be a rounded sidewall look, depending on the tire. I have 275/35-20 on 9.5" wheels and the sidewalls are almost square.

Then again, a 255/40-19 on an 8.5" wheel might be slightly rounded also, so the end result might be matched nicely front to rear. Again, it will depend on the tires. Might have to just try it and see.

Thanks for the pics! Im running the Pilot Sport AS 3 plus. 255 40 19 look perfect on my 19 8.5 wheels. No side bulging just perfect. The 245 40 19s in had before looked a little stretched. Im hoping I can fit the 285 35 19 in the rear with no rubbing in order to be able to use my 255s up front. My concern with 285s was rubbing or too heavy for the F10. After all its a 6 cylinder not 8
