Lightbulb BMW F10 how upgrade s676a to Harman Kardon Amplifier ?

Hi
is anyone to instruct how to replace the amplifier from the s676a version to Harman Kardon? I can handle coding, I also have speakers. Do I have to install a new harness from scratch or can it be done on an existing one?

You can keep existing wires. You will have to add the following:

Wires to both rear doors
MOST cables
Power cable to rear fuse box
Fan

I might forget something but that's the bulk of it.

I have done this on an M4, so slightly different, what you will need:

MOST wires(green) from the amp in the trunk to the head unit
HK amp that’s compatible with your year
ASD unit
Mounting Bracket
Rear door tweeters and wires
Wiring harness from amp to the body, for various connection to ground and such.
ESYS to inject new cad files and code the new amp, as your current setup does not have one.

It’s not too bad as 90% of wiring is already there, if you were wanting B&O sound that would be a different story.
