Leaving the bimmer world after many years

It's a bittersweet time in my life, someone made a ridiculous offer on my 2011 535i xDrive with 40k miles that I would be stupid to pass up on, and after spending lots of time on these forums, I've decided to shy away from upgrading to a 550/650/M5/M6 due to so many reliability scares. Even if I get one with an extended warranty I just don't want to deal with my car constantly being in and out of the shop and not saying they're all bad because I've seen plenty of high mileage V8s that have been solid.

I'm also getting a great deal to shimmy myself into my cousins CLS 550 so I've pretty much decided that's the route I'm taking. Don't shoot me for posting a non bimmer but he's got it setup beautifully and it's been incredibly reliable and solid and the W218 platform doesn't seem to have any major flaws.

I know it's not an M Sport or anything special but I got it at such an incredible price that I sacrificed the Sport package for super low mileage, picked it up Jan 2018 with only 19k and one owner. Did M3 Comp Rep wheels (cry me a river &#129315

H&R Sport Springs, Muffler deletes, K&N CAI, and JB4 with BT module. It's NEVER been in the shop besides 2 oil changes. Fantastic car it's been for me.

The Benz is on factory sport air suspension with lowering links, AMG Appearance Package, Rohana RFX10 20x9 20x10, High flow resonators, and that's about it.

All cars have their benefits and drawbacks and I had a great time with my F10 535i as I did with my E60 530i (N52) and my E46 323 auto and 325i manual but anything beyond the 6 cylinder cars just seem to be hit or miss.

Both are very nice cars, congratulations.

You did the right thing. BMW = I6, Merc = V8

I don't think I would ever own a V8 BMW out of warranty.

Congrats... hey, on your M666 reps , were they the same specs of the OEM M666 wheels? (+29F and +40R offsets)

Do you know if the OEM m666 will fit on a 535i?

There is a forum somewhere on here someone has done it but it's pretty aggressive fitment

I've only been able to find an M550 with the M666 wheel.. and it was lowered.
