I also posted this in the 6 series forum but figured I would post here also as it is N63 related:

My 2014 650 just passed the 60k mile mark and my CPO expires Feb 2020. The car has been reliable to date but I am concerned going forward how well the N63 will do. I would like to keep this car another couple of years but I am worried about potential repair bills. I am currently shopping 3rd party extended warranties/VSPs which tend to run just shy of $5k for 2 years. I'm not sure if it's worth it. Do you all have any examples of repairs/problems you have incurred on your 650s and also how much have those repairs costed you?

Second question...do you have any recommendations for 3rd party extended warranties? BMW will only go 1 additional year on my car for around $5k. I am in CA, where most warranty/VSP companies will not sell directly to the customer so I have to go thru a dealer.
