Hi all, I recently bought a 2013 BMW 535i, and it came with the smoker's package - including the ashtrays in the rear doors, as shown in the attached photo.

I'd love to get rid of these ashtrays if possible, as they take up valuable space from the door storage area.

Can anyone kindly point me to, or provide me with, some step-by-step instructions on how to remove the ashtrays?

Is it necessary to remove the entire door panel (and if so, how?) or can I remove them without removing the door panels?

I don't have ashtray in my car only thing I can think have you try to pull it out with some force It has to come out

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that - the ash tray unit is affixed to the door panel and can't be removed by just pulling on it.
