Vredestein Quatrac Pro XLs for 2016 F10 550i xDrive

Just got my new tires mounted - 245/40R-19 Vredestein Quatrac Pro XLs all around. It never gets old to feel how much better the ride is with real tires vs. RFTs. Can't wait for some ice and snow to see how the new tires complement the xDrive.

Please do post your experience when you drive in the snow. I am considering those for my RWD for the winter in the Bay Area with occasional trips to Tahoe.

Sure will - just cross your fingers I get the chance down here in southeastern VA!

I put these on my wife's GLC a month ago to replace the OEM Pirelli RFTs and couldn't be happier with them so far. Super silent on the highway and great grip in the rain. Definitely my tire of choice moving fwd on her car.

Any updates on the tires? I'm curious how they perform, especially in the current East Coast weather?

I can only report what we already know - non-RFT tires ride so much better than RFTs. So far, no snow to speak of in SE VA - if we get some, I'll be sure to take them for a ride and provide an update. Sorry I'm not more help!

i got these for my 08 Cayenne GTS over a year ago. I want to say that although it is not the sportiest AS tire, it is great in the winter. For an all season it is very good in snow. However, still not nearly as good as winter tires. But if you don't want to deal with two sets, very good choice.
Very good traction in wet weather.

P.S.
I do have some road noise but that could be the function of an old style SUV which is technically a truck. also I'm using somewhat low profile 275/40/20 sometimes it gets louder with thinner sidewalls.

Did you ever get to try these in snow? Also curious what you think about them from every other angle - ride, handling, steering response, noise, resistance to aqua planning etc. now that you've had them a while.

Ok, I'm pretty sure the snow season is over by now. Any updates on the tires this past winter?

No snow to speak of down here. But, I still love the tires - great feel, great look.
