Which make/model tires are on your 5-series now and do you like them

Long story short, I'm going to need new tires soon. Pretty sure I'm moving away from the run-on-flat tires so I want to know which make and model tires you're running on your car right now and any relevant feedback you have on those tires. Thanks in advance!

I replaced my runflats with Michelin Pilot Super Sports (PSS) three years ago, and have not looked back! I've heard that the newer version, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, is even better. I noticed an immediate improvement in handling and responsiveness, and the ride also became less harsh but still very defined. I have both a small air compressor and a can of slime in my trunk, just in case I have an issue. So far, no flats or other tire problems.

I have the Bridgestone DriveGuard (square 18") ROF's on our 2012 and I just went to Michelin PSS on our 2014 M-Sport. Had the DriveGuard's been available for the 19" staggered set-up I would have bought them. The benefits of a ROF with a much better ride than the Crapyear LS2's. For the Michelin's I carry a jack, plug kit and compressor.

I have the Bridgeston RFT 19s on my 535i M Sport (factory wheels). They came on it when I purchased the car, but they seem to have a harshness about them. I'm used to low profile tires so it's not that. They're nice and sticky, do well in rain overall (could be a little better imo) but the overall ride should be better at this price point. For similar money I'd go Michelin but I'm actually looking at the Federal Evoluzion ST1

I'm in the non-run flat camp here with the Bridgestone Potenza RE980 A/S. Been on them for about 8 months now and greatly prefer them to the stock RF. Found them to have great wet/snow traction in this year's rough winter. Have the inflation kit in the trunk and roadside assistance just in case. My only complaint is they're a bit stiff but probably due to them being an ultra high performance tire. I see my variant (528) as less of a sport sedan and more of a luxury cruiser so I wish there were more options in the grand touring tires.

After I dropped the Conti run-flats, I went to Michelin Pilot SS since I really liked them on my 135i. when the Pilot-SS's were ready for a change, I switched to the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. Don't think I will switch again, these DWS's are great; super quiet, ride longer than the Pilot-SS.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Great. Previously had Pilot Super Sports and Bridgestone Potenza S-04 PP after ditching the original run flat Michelin Primacy after 1600 miles.

I recently fitted the Falken FK510 tyres on my f30 and plan on fitting the same on the f10 when they are due for replacement. Bang for buck, I rate them exceptionally well. The grip is amazing, especially in the wet. They offer great comfort with very little road noise. I also recently did a track day with them and they held up really well.

I had FK510's on my 535i xDrive lowered on H&Rs with a good alignment and I for some reason only got like 12k miles out of them before I had cord, driven spirited occasionally but obviously no burnouts or anything being xDrive ... I have no idea why but I did like them for what they were.

I got some cheapy Nankang NS-25s after my cousin recommended them to me. Drove on them in his CLS550 4.7 V8 TT car and it felt pretty impressive in 30 degree NY weather. For less than $500 a set I could care less if they lasted 15k

Michelin AS 3+

I got 12,000 miles on my Michelin PS4S, fortunately they have 30,000 mile tread life warranty and I got some $ towards my Michelin AS 3+. The PS4S were great in warm weather but slippery below 40F.

I am running Firehawk Indy 500 for summer ---- will be buying again amazing summer tires.

Dunlop winter Max for winter ---- will be replacing them with michelin x-ice xi3. Going straight in deep snow I can do 50mph no problem but not so good in turning.
