Winter Blend Gasoline

Hello,
I have noticed that when i fill up my 2012 BMW 550iGT in the winter the car tends to sputter and hiccup when accelerating. This does not happen in the summer. Does anyone have a reason why this might be the case? I believe this is because of the winter blend of gasoline that is using ethanol, or some other derivatives but I don't know for sure. Just curious if others have experience this same type of situation.

Thank you
George

I added a bottle of liqumoly Jettron and it helped a bit.
Also i use shell's v power 91 IIRC that is ethanol free or less than 3%
