Replaced my blown up factory bov with the turbosmart dual venting unit. A pain in the butt but it was well needed. Car was clearly leaking boost and this one sounds good and is doing its job

I may get some raised eyebrows on this one, but I changed my rear spoiler today. Car came with a beautiful carbon fiber spoiler that I've had on the car since purchasing in 2022. I was starting to feel like it was too much for my tastes and wanted something more low profile and discreet. I was feeling like I was going overboard with black accents.
I opted for a painted M5 style body colored spoiler instead. I'll rock with this look for a bit and see if I feel better with a smaller spoiler matching the body of the car. I don't want the body of the car to be overshadowed by all these black aftermarket pieces. |

As if it really matters, but I've always preferred the subtle look. IMHO, the big spoiler is more in-your-face and the smaller one is subtle and classy.

Put in new breather hose.
Also test fitted 10x20 for front. I might get these for next winter, 10" all around. Last edited by zener; 02-25-2024 at 01:31 PM.. |

Had a very intrest and expensive weekend lol Car started to sound like belt was about to slip plus needed to do the oil filter canister, changed our harmonic balancer and belt wouldn't come out so I had to pry it out damaged belt so put new one on, new harmonic balancer and of course the flange from thermostat broke so did that too. So product weekend and car seems a little more relief now.

I got this one. I debated getting a OEM one from Germany, the bumper wasn't much more, but the shipping would have been almost as much as the bumper putting it over 1k before paint.
The quality on this one is good, not great. I used my OEM black grills since they were better quality. I also had to drill holes for the side view cameras and order new brackets for the cameras since they are impossible to take off the old bumper without breaking them. I wish I did this years ago when the car was in the shop for the rear bumper. I hated those front side markers, even the painted ones bothered me... |

Replaced the orings for my oil cooler adapter things. Not sure if I messed up during install or they just don't fit very well, but it was causing a tiny oil leak. Replaced with some viton o-rings that...well, honestly don't fit very well either, but hopefully will still do the job. If not, I'm just ordering the BMW orings.
