BMW owner since e28 F10 535 Build/Mod Thread

Hello everyone! Would just like to introduce myself. New to the F10 forum/ownership. Have been a loyal BMW 5 series owner since the E28. Here are a couple of quick pics of my new/used ride. Let the dress up and MODS begin.

Looking forward to contributing and reading up on all the information available here.

Thanks!

Welcome. Post some pics up of your previous 5's. Did you have an E39?

Yes I do. Have a 2000 E39it VF/SC. She is now pretty much the garage queen now as many hours/$$ have been spent on her.

Welcome. AW is a great color. I have an AW 550. I look forward to following your mod journey. That E39 wagon is beautiful.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Could not resist looking at a wide variety of wheels today and these 2 options are the ones I am pondering over. Both wheels would be the same size and specific offset for the F10.

Front: 20x9 ; 245x35x20
Rear: 20x11 ; 285x30x120

Got the car on the Dyno today and stock results are as expected. 93 degree day and ended up with 269hp with 305 torque at the wheels. Gives a good base line to start. Now to look at the different tunes available.

Bootmod 3 looks very promising. Comments, hints, and suggestions are welcome.

Happy weekend everyone.

Finally got time today to have the wheels/tires installed! Now I know how far to lower it for a comfortable yet sporty look. Nothing crazy though.

Hopefully next week get to install my front bumper and springs.

More pics to come.

I have a 2011 535i looking exactly like yours did stock without m tech rear diffuser. I am only 17 and have some knowledge about modding. First time in Forums

Looking for advice and tips. Wanted to start by getting new wheels, converting front bumper to m5 bumper, installing rear diffuser and quad tips. On a budget though.

Wondering if I get a muffler delete for like 140, quad tips for 80 and then a hamann rear diffuser for 400, would it work or am I missing something?

One thing I saw someone do on an X5 was to wrap the window trim black. Changes the car a great deal going from the chrome around the windows to black but not sure on pricing... Wheels look great!

It is all individual taste but I think the chrome on the windows and door handles go very well with the wheels. I would suggest changing out the orange reflector if CA allows.
