VRSF Downpipe Install Hookup

If anyone is looking to buy a new downpipe and have it installed, my dudes at Studio RSR can do parts and labor for $400. Mad hookup considering the dp new is $400. OC area. Oh and of course they have legit prices for all other installs as well.

Not sure. They did a few things to my car so I dropped it off and picked up later. Same day though. They work by appointment so when you drop it off they get started on it right away.

I love DIYs. From the video looks like getting that one far bolt takes the longest? Otherwise 1-2hr job?

Exactly. Its a win win if you have already planned to buy the dp new. Some parts you can get away with buying used but a dp is not one I wanted to buy used. Because they're under a lot of constant heat I've seen dp's crack over time especially around any areas where there are welds. I've personally had this happen on my e85 mazdaspeed 3 running 25lbs of boost. Miss that car sometimes.

Is it a part you want to know how to diy, since you probably have to take it off when smogging?

It's not a "deal" per say. It's just their regular pricing. So yes.

So if I have a 2014, I won't ever need a smog check? Or after 8 years (2022) I'll need one?

Starting January 1, 2019, if your vehicle is less than 4 model years old, you can pay a smog abatement fee instead of getting a smog inspection for the first 8 years that your vehicle is registered.

So it depends when you bought your 2014... if you bought it 2013 then it's 2021

Yea, came off the lot in 2013. So I'll need a smog check next year. Is it then every 2 years after that?
