I have the original purchase invoice for the 2014 f11 that I recently bought. It lists all the optional extras which include £325 (about $450) for "Online Entertainment".

I have just checked my Connected Drive account and apparently the current price for Online Entertainment is £179 for one year.

So what was the £325 (in 2014) for? Was it the cost of acquiring the option to then subscribe to Online Entertainment (for another £179 per year)?

Have I got it right? It sounds very expensive. I'm hoping the £325 was maybe for a lifetime subscription, but it certainly does not appear to be active now.

And bear in mind this is on top of also paying £230 for the Connected Drive Services package (which includes Information Plus and Remote Services).

Thanks, I thought as much. So the £325 was for a virtual CD player. I think I will stick with my USB stick rather than pay £179 per year to use that player.
