High speed braking system.
Hi, I have a 2010 F10 525d which needs new front pads.
How do I determine if I have the 'High speed braking system' fitted? I cannot find any info on this. The caliper has BMW part No. 60/30/348 stamped on it but this does not relate to the part numbers in the parts catalogue or RealOEM although it does for ebay sales. Any help greatly appreciated. |

60/36/348 is not a part number. 36 is the width of the rotor and 348 is the diameter. Sounds like you do have the equivalent of the 550i brakes. I believe for 525d that should be considered high speed brake system. However to confirm, go to realoem.com and enter last 7 of your vin in the serial number field and then browse to brakes section and see what you find for part number of rotor corresponding to the size 36x348
