Bmw F10 Rear Fog Light Switch Difference

I want to activate the rear fog light but I would like to know what the difference is. since a switch has these buttons.

I know the switch on the bottom works - not sure what the extra dimmer wheel is for on the top switch.

The extra wheel is a headlight level adjuster, and does nothing on usdm cars. Afaik, it doesn't matter if you get the one with or without the extra wheel.

So- rear fog lights? Is that a preinstalled option or does it light up the reverse lights?

Yeah !!! Preinstalled under reverse light .. Only put the switch and ready without coding. See the photo.
