Hey y'all there's a thread with a few people that have used the B58 HPFP plunger and modded wiring harness with claims of 13% higher fueling. I'm following the thread and investigating more but if all is true then the XDI $2k HPFP can be skipped.

The B58 HPFP is only better because its volumetric efficiency is slightly better than the N55 HPFP. The XDI pump has different sized pistons... I think XDI came in to explain a lot of their engineering & design on that thread.

This doesn't mean that the XDI can be skipped, especially if you're trying to put down serious power.

I have the old school n54 style hpfp, which I know flows better than later 535i's. Would this be benefit over that hpfp?

True if you're heading for 600 plus. I guess i meant if you're looking for 500whp range. Also yes I read their whole post about the science of fuel flow.

I guess makes sense why I am hitting 20psi, I just want to know if there will be any benefit for me to this route or if this pump share similar flow to n54 hpfp.

yes sir. Precision Raceworks LPFP. Yo have you thought about opting for the Evolution Race Fuel Pump Module. I bought it.. bit on the expensive side but fuel flow was more stable and ekpm3 wasnt collapsing like the oem was.

Sorry everyone, noob here. Anyone successfully run the XDI-60 pump on a BMW yet? I purchased the XDi-60 since May and still have not been able to get it to run correctly. I have an F10 535 PWG running BM3. At first install the car did not start even with the XDI60 checkbox marked in config. It took two weeks, but finally TTFS and BM3 was finally able to get the parameters right so the car is running now. However, it can't support 15+ PSI of boost without HPFP dropping to 800 PSi. TTFS are telling me that my Fuel-It Stage 2 pump is the problem now. My log is showing that the LPFP is at 84 PSI at any boost or RPM. I've read that the F10 does not have a low pressure fuel sensor so where is the BM3 getting this 84 PSI number from? If anyone have any theories, please chime in.

Yeah, I have had the same issue just not as bad. I can get higher boost but I have shutdown do to fuel. To me the hpfp quits. But as you were told, I was told the same thing the lpfp. I have been dyno'd at about 450hp but wanted a little more on the low end. That tune started to cause the problem your having now. Got a little burn out trying to chase all the problems I did have before this. Had to take a break and just put the consistent tune back in it. Hope someone can figure this one out so I can turn it up
$howtime456 has a lot of experience with recent fueling upgrades.

There is a recall for your lpfp so that's one thing.
The problem in our cars is really the hpfp. Upgrading that I believe will solve most fueling problems for our platform.

Mine is upgraded. I have the fuel it lpfp and the TTFS XDI-60 hpfp which suppose to be able to handle up to 800 hp. Is the fuel it lpfp have a recall or the factory one?
Factory for recall.

From what i understand even with the fueling upgrades, the exhaust manifold becomes a limiting factor when reaching for 6-800whp. Again $howtime456 gots the deets on that.
