Good question! No worries on rain, anything that would get to the turbo would vaporize. And consider the fact that people spray water/meth directly into the charge pipe. There are actual benefits to a bit of water in the intake lol although that is not the intention here. What you want to avoid is hydro lock which happens if you pulled 100% water into the intake… like submerged!

These are 650 +shipping including everything you need to install. Remember this is the inlet and intake, so it is the complete system. If you haven’t watched the YT video yet please do that. Thanks!

Also, the filter would stop a lot of the rain and it would mostly be mist by the time it gets into the pipes.

If it's raining hard enough to hydrolock the engine, go find Noah's Ark pronto.

I don't know about the intake, personally not a fan of intake cone showing through the grill, but I'm loving the way those fog light grills look!

Front ends looks 10 times better without fog lights, nice job!

One always has the option of replacing that filter with an all black one to better hide. that along with flat black high-temp paint for the heat shield would make it so you likely don't see it unless A- you're looking for it, or B- you're at that height looking at the grilles
