DDE247500 Rail pressure error
Hi all.
I did a remap in december last year. After one month I did a long drive, around 300km without stoping (4-5 hours), and I got this error: 247500 - Rail Pressure Plausibility: Positive control deviation/Rail Pressure Too Low. I deleted the error, since then I have made only short roads of maximum 100-150 km, and the error didn't show up. Until two days ago, when after 300km the car entered in limp mode. After restarting, everything was ok for 15-20 minutes, when I was acceelereting to the bottom, again, limp mode. Today, I started the engine, I did few km until oil temperatura was around 100, and then for 20 minutes I did 50-180 for 6-7 times, but the drive train error didn't show up. I did some checks with ISTA for fuel injectors: Some other details ar 800 rpm: It seems this is happening after 2-4 hours of continuous driving. Any ideea what it the problem? Or what something else to check? |

Hi. Not yet, because is happening only when is very hot outside, and after more that 50-70km, only in summer hot days. After few diagnoses, I guess the problem come from high pressure pump (I guess the diesel is getting thinner). It can't provide the required pressure, so it goes to limp mode. As I check in the logs, fuel system needs around 2000-2100 bar, and the high pressure pump provide only 1800-1900. In the summer, after temperature raise above 25-28 °C, I will replace it, and see if still happening. I will post updates once I have any news. Also, if you find the problem, please post, I am currious.

Hi. I'm not sure about 247500, I can't remember exactly what other errors I had, or if I had any other error.

Thanks for the response. My mechanic also asking me to change the high pressure fuel pump. Trying to source it. There are lot of online stores and not sure where to buy. I live in India and here the pump cost is just unrealistic. About 2500 USD.
