Dynamic Drive? Adaptive Drive? Dyamic Driving Control?

Hey! New guy here from Hong Kong. Gonna buy a new 550i soon to replace my old 545i.

Can you guys please explain those 3 BMW technologies. Is Adaptive Drive the newer name of Dynamic Drive and is Dynamic Driving Control the one with Comfort/Normal/Sport/Sport+?

Dynamic Driving Control allows you to adjust the transmission programming and chasis(steering primarily) to a more sporty ride. All Hong Kong 550i comes with sport auto as standard, which automatically includes DDC.

DDC by itself will give you Normal/Sport/Sport+ modes. Sport/Sport+ modes will tighten the steering and gives you faster steering and throttle responses, as well as higher transmission shift points and faster shifting responses.
Sport+ mode further disables DSC, but gives you Dynamic traction control (DTC).

Adaptive Drive includes dynamically controlled suspensions and anti-roll bars, in conjunction with DDC. DDC in adaptive drive adds the comfort mode which supposed to further smooth out road imperfections. The comfort/sport/sport+ mode also adjusts the suspension system to give you a firmer ride in sport ans softer in comfort.

And I didn't go for Adaptive drive as I probably will go for aftermarket suspension upgrades
