BMW Hong Kong now offers the F10 530iA
but should it be the i6 272hP instead of the 256hP
.....and how come the old i6 528(256hP) got the EFC.... Or did they double check the price list before putting it up on their web? http://www.bmwhk.com/com/en/newvehicles/prp/index.html |

Same hp with the 528i ? And the 528i is a bargain, even better than getting the 520i.
Is the 256hp 528 already is n20 ?

I believe the 528 should have the N20 i4 turbo while the 530 got the 272hp i6.
BTW now the 530 is selling at the same price as the 528 i6 one years ago, gets ~20hp more and it's the one which represent the pinacle of BMW NA i6...WTF |

Back-to-the-future cars where we can use organic garbage as fuel will do well

I what the i6 too but I think it would not be out for other 3 to 4 years as these 2 i cars are the 1st white mice and 100% there will be 100s of bugs and every 6 month there will be a new firmware out just like the windows lol |

Confusing. I think the 523i and 530i are just left over stocks for I-6. 528i renamed to 530i?
That's weird. Who's getting the 523 and 530?

Can they re-badge their old 528 and call them 530s? Talk about free profits..
I think its all wrong.. except the prices ..so new 528 is $548k .. can live with that But pingu, u still want to pay 100k for the tune? Is there any other real difference?.. Just get the 520i man, its a bargain |

I think the 530 comes with the N53 engine. Our 528 comes with the N52N engine. The N53 is the same engine as the one in the 330. 272+ hp and higher torque vs 258 hp for the N52N.

I agree on the price for 100k more it is a lot of that extra HP but if the option are more on the 528 then it will be worth it. |

In the UK, both the N53 i6 272hP 530i & N20 i4 turbo 240hP 528i are on offer(that's a diesel land there though) So most likely, HK just followed them. If the HK BMW's price list wasn't too far off, they're selling the 530 at the old i6 528's price

Yeah, if its the same physical stuff, adding a tune to a 520i would just be making it more of a 528, while adding more ontop of the 528 to like 300hp u create more stress, so more likely to break..

Question of whether 530i would get eco rebate.. Just the figures given correspond to the old 528i price.. unless they mean, they know the 530i is coming, then knowingly give an incorrect price |
