Front lower wishbone arms

Hi chaps

Has anyone had the front lower wishbone arms changed?

By the dealer or independent?

Did you use oem or aftermarket

What symptoms were you experiencing in order to change to new.

Thanks

Common wear item IMO, obvious way to tell is a performing a visual inspection of the bushing. Another quick way to tell is moving forward and braking hard. If they're bad you'll feel a clunk from the front end and with a helper they can also confirm wheel movement when you brake.

Thank you for your help!

I feel rest assured as I was worried that it's not a common issue.

Do you know whether it's worth buying original or aftermarket and the best place to buy from?

Thanks

Lemforder from ECP are probably your best bet.

Worth asking for a price at BMW, look on realoem.com for the part as they do a value line for these.

Same as you have now, just at a better price as they are considered a wear and tear part.
