I think 2 races ago they were speculating that they even might win a race this year. I don't hear them saying that now...

After every race Mercedes says something new. Either it's going really well and saying that they have every problem under control, or saying it's going really bad and they don't quite know why.
These are both literally statements of Toto within 1 month or so.

acceleration the same. top speed and corner speed lower by 5-7kph.

I can't really say with 100% confidence but I've been saying this since pre-season testing. They need to scrap their "loop hole" sidepod to get back in the mix. They're going to be 1 year behind Ferrari and Red Bull who just had an entire season of testing for 2023.

Ferrari should be very strong next year.
