Question Front Tweeters - Connection Already There?

Hello all!

I have an F10 520d M Sport with stock speakers. They're not amazing, but passable for me.

I was considering adding tweeters, as the biggest issue I have is with the mids / lows fighting with the treble to play over the same speakers - so figured as a cheap upgrade, adding tweeters would make a big difference.

Does anyone know if the connection is already sitting inside the doorcard, just waiting for a tweeter to be plugged in? (aware I will need the door sails etc0.)

I'm only looking to complete the upgrade if it doesn't require any splicing of wires etc - this is the nicest car I've ever owned, so if it's quite involved I'd rather pay someone to do it!

Many thanks in advance!

From what I remember the tweeter plugs into the mid range speaker in the door, I don't think there was a separate cable to the tweeters from the amp. Just an in-line capacitor to act as a high pass filter on the cable between the tweeter and mid range.

That's just going off memory.

There is a short cable that connects between the mid and tweeter.
